Adoption fairs
Help screen people interested in adopting our foster animals or help run adoption fairs
Foster
parenting and baby sitting
Foster and socialize feral kittens and cats or help baby sit when the foster parent is out-of-town
Bottle feeding
FCAP often receives calls about litters of orphaned kittens that need bottle feeding to survive. Volunteers who bottle feed should have a flexible schedule and be able to commit to round-the-clock care
for a period of up to four to six weeks.
Cage
cleaning
Many of FCAP’s foster cats are showcased at our local PetsMart. We
need volunteers to tidy up their cages. You can offer your time as often as your
schedule permits
Voice
Line
We need volunteers who are organized and good with the public
to return phone calls received on our voice line.
Web
site in-put
Collaborate on ideas to make our web site functional, appealing,
and user-friendly.

Cat
trapping
If you have experience trapping feral cats and kittens or
would like to learn how, then join our rescue team.
Spay Day
Spay Day requires all kinds of volunteers with varying skills. If you have veterinary or medical experience, we can use your help prepping for surgery
or in surgery. If you are detail-oriented, we can use your help keeping records
on each cat treated. And we always need nurturing volunteers to care for the
cats in recovery.
Spay Day building beautification and upkeepOur Spay Day facility
in Greensboro needs inside and outside maintenance. Call us if you have
time to donate your carpentry or horticulture skills. We also need volunteers
to upkeep the general grounds.
Fund-raising and marketing
Channel your creative energy into raising money
for critters! Help FCAP develop new ways to fund our program and to inform the
community about the important services we provide.
Grant writing and newsletter writing
We need your
expertise if you have experience writing grants and brief articles or if you have photographic, editing or desk-top publishing
skills.
